Famous for its crystal-clear, emerald-colored waters and for the unique phenomenon that once caused them to turn red, it is now one of the most fascinating natural destinations in the Dolomites.
This experience, which lasts about half a day, offers the chance to fish for the prized Alpine char while cruising aboard a small boat on the lake’s crystal-clear waters. It’s a rare and exclusive activity that allows you to experience Tovel from a unique perspective, far from the crowds and immersed in an extraordinary natural setting. A day with a guide means no trial and error, no wasted time: you are right on top of the fish, with the right setup, the correct equipment, and the technique suited to the environment and season. Every outing is optimized to the maximum.
New to these waters? Never fished for marble trout before? No problem. The guide is entirely dedicated to you for the entire duration of the trip, transferring all the necessary know-how to you from the very first cast.
You can book a basic lesson in spinning, fly fishing, and more. All equipment is available for hire directly at the hotel: arrive empty-handed, leave as a fisherman. Also suitable for teenagers and children.

We start the year with lake trout fishing from a boat on the lake. The silence of winter, the still waters, and the snow-capped peaks make every outing an extraordinary experience, far from the summer crowds.
In March, all the flowing waters open up: it is the most eagerly awaited time to fish for marble trout, brown trout, hybrids, and grayling. Spring offers various opportunities in lakes, rivers, and streams, with lively waters, active fish, and nature bursting into life.
Summer brings cool temperatures and high altitudes: in addition to boat trips, we organize fishing excursions in the mountains to high-altitude lakes in search of the mysterious Arctic char. An adventure that combines trekking and fishing in picture-perfect scenery.
October: fly fishing is still possible in some streams, and it is an excellent time for lake fishing. November closes the season with boat fishing, surrounded by the magic of Trentino's foliage and the first snow on the peaks of the Dolomites.
